Well, this is definitely a new one!
The police showed up at my open house 🚔
You can imagine my surprise when I saw the officer coming up to the front door. I suppose the first thought I had was that he was coming to check out the house and had just got off duty.
I was just quietly sitting there and had been in the house for 2 hours already when the cop showed up to the house.
Now, I have worked with UPD for a bit in the past, but this officer was kind of a jerk. He came in very authoritative instead of being a bit more chill. I thought it was uncalled for on something that was so dumb.
Apparently, a neighbor called the cops to complain my open house sign is at the curb. 🤯
I mean, this is your biggest concern, person? It had been sitting there for 2 hours and had less than 30 more minutes before I was about to pick up the sign and move on with the day.
So, ok, whatever. I picked up the signs.
So dumb.
