Sometimes it’s all about the small things that help sell your house.
I was out with a new Buyer on a Saturday as we were touring our first homes.
It was cold and rainy that day. I felt like a mail delivery person! Neither rain, nor snow, nor dark of night shall keep me from opening the door to this property! 💨⛈️☂️
The weather does make it difficult to check out backyards and walk around the outside of the house. Even though I had my rain jacket on and I brought an umbrella with me. 🌂
I was very much happy to just stay inside and not look at the backyards. 😁 But, as any good mail delivery person, I toughed it out and got wet and cold all over again as we sloshed through the soaking lawns.
We got to house #2 and the Seller’s had left hand-written post it’s throughout their house.
I thought it was cute that they are trying hard to show the features of their home.
The note on the range got me though! “This oven and range will make dinner a snap, and it’s included.”
So…does that mean the oven/range will make dinner for you?!? 😂 Talk about a great feature if so!
At least, that is how I took the note to read. Perhaps it’s my wish that I won’t have to make dinner anymore and it’ll just be done for me.
I will say it was nice seeing the notes of when the appliances were purchased. It was just odd to see notes all over the house. And I mean, everywhere. It became a little too much.
Someone needs to tell those Sellers they don’t need to try so hard. 😉
